My stay at the motel-style hotel wasn't exactly the beach inn experience I was hoping for. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with wonderful bedding and a great shower. However, some aspects of the service felt questionable, like when someone took a photocopy of my husband's credit card, which seemed dodgy at best. On the upside, we did eventually get an upgrade to a nicer room with some persistence. The location was excellent, within walking distance of everything Newport Beach has to offer.
